Trust & safety
A job platform is only useful if people can trust what they see on it.
Every job shows its source
Each job says where it came from (a recruiter on Shortlisted, the company's careers page, or a licensed feed) and, for jobs we read from the web, when we last saw it on the source. Jobs that disappear from the source are closed.
Verified employers
Recruiters sign up with a work email, verified with a one-time code or Google, and we show whether it matches the company's website. Posts from employers we haven't verified yet are checked by our team before they go live, and only employers we've checked carry the Verified badge. Company registration checks (GSTIN / CIN) come next.
Never pay to apply
Shortlisted never charges job seekers, and no employer may ask for money for a job, interview or training. Report any job in one tap; our team reviews every report.
Fair ranking
Rankings use skills, experience, education, location and pay. Gender, age, religion, caste, marital status and photos are never inputs.
